Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Partner Portal?
The Partner Portal is a web interface that will enable to you to manage your Design Registrations and Opportunities. Partners who are registered for Intel Premier Support or Lead Management are also able to access those services from the Partner Portal.
As an FPGA/Power Partner, can I still send you my Design Registration data using FTP?
FTP will no longer be available. You will be able to bulk upload your Design Registration data through a standard ECIA file format. The ECIA (Electronics Components industry Association) Design Registration upload Form addresses the authorized electronic components industry’s need for a standardized methodology for Design Registration requests and approval.
How will I access the Partner Portal & what login credentials do I use?
You will be able to access the Partner Portal using a direct URL (partners.intel.com) or via My Intel or the Intel® Resource & Design Center. Some users may have an existing login ID to our Intel systems, some may not. We will communicate your login ID when we deploy so that you can easily log in.
How do I enter my Design Registration data into the Partner Portal?
There are two ways to enter your data. You can either add your data to the bulk upload template to bulk upload your Design Registrations or you can manually enter them. Detailed instructions can be found here.
If I am not currently entering Design Registrations, what is the expectation for submission?
All partners need to follow the new process. If you have an existing budgetary quote/debit, you may continue to use it without submitting a new Design Registration. However, to receive demand creation margin moving forward, an approved Design Registration will be required.

Yes, you will be able to extract your data through the Reports tab.
Do I still need to send my Design Registrations by email to my Account Manager?

There will be no change.
How will I manage Opportunities in the Partner Portal?
Once your submitted Design Registration has been approved, it will automatically create an Opportunity. You will be able to view and edit the Opportunity in the Partner Portal. The portal will enable you to see your complete Intel pipeline. Both you and Intel will be able to see your current data and ensure the data is aligned between us. This shared view will be useful for pipeline reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews.
What happens with Partner registrations that have been submitted to Intel and have been manually entered into Salesforce prior to the new Partner Portal launch?
Once we launch the new Partner Community, new Partner Registration submissions for the approved DR partners must go through the new Partner Community process and only those registrations that are submitted into Salesforce, via the new Partner Community (Portal or bulk upload) can be updated, maintained and viewed in the new Partner Community environment. Any registrations that are manually entered into Salesforce by Intel persons, prior to the new Partner Community launch, will continue to be updated, maintained and reported via the pre Partner Community launch methods. There is not a systematic method in which we can migrate the existing pre Partner Community registrations into the new Partner Community formats or reports.

MINDS engagements may be subject to trade laws and regulations. You’re responsible for any and all trade compliance obligations related to your participation in this opportunity, including but not limited to: identifying requirements, securing all necessary trade authorizations, and filing declarations.
