How do I download the Intel® oneAPI Toolkits and is there a free version available?
All of the Intel® oneAPI toolkits are available for free download and may be used for commercial and non-commercial purposes.
To download the toolkit:
- Go to Intel oneAPI Toolkits.
- Select the toolkit that you want to download.
- On the respective toolkit page, go to the Download the Toolkit option, and then select the Get It Now button.
For Linux* operating systems, you can download and install some of the toolkits via Docker* or package managers, such as YUM, APT and Zypper*.
When downloading, sign in to your Intel account to ensure that you get notifications of software updates.
Note No licenses are required to use the Intel® oneAPI toolkits. The oneAPI toolkits obtained for free are supported via community forums. Only the most recent releases of the oneAPI toolkits are available.
Where can I find downloads for Intel® Parallel Studio XE?
Intel® Parallel Studio XE is no longer available as a stand-alone product. You must purchase and register the Intel® oneAPI Base & HPC Toolkit to have access to the Intel Parallel Studio XE downloads.
Get the Intel® oneAPI Base & HPC Toolkit.
After the purchase and registration, the Intel Parallel Studio XE downloads will be available under the Intel® oneAPI Base & HPC Toolkit product in the Intel Registration Center.
Where can I find downloads for Intel® System Studio?
Intel® System Studio is no longer available as a stand-alone product. You must purchase and register the Intel® oneAPI Base & IoT Toolkit to have access to the Intel System Studio downloads.
Get the Intel® oneAPI Base & IoT Toolkit.
After the purchase and registration, the Intel System Studio downloads will be available under the Intel® oneAPI Base & IoT Toolkit product in the Intel Registration Center.
Where can I find my Intel Parallel Studio XE and Intel System Studio downloads after I transition to oneAPI?
When you transition from an Intel product, such as Intel Parallel Studio XE or Intel System Studio, to an Intel oneAPI toolkit, your old serial number will be retired, and a new serial number for the Intel oneAPI toolkit will be issued in the Intel Registration Center.
- Intel Parallel Studio XE is included with the Intel oneAPI Base + HPC Toolkit
- Intel System Studio is included with the Intel oneAPI Base + IoT Toolkit
How do I download and install a component of my Intel Parallel Studio XE or Intel System Studio?
Intel Parallel Studio XE and Intel System Studio XE feature the entire package.
To install only a component of that package:
- Choose the Customizable Installation option from the download page.
- In the installer, choose the components that you want to install.
How do I download the Intel® Fortran Compiler?
Intel Fortran Compiler can be downloaded as a component of the Intel oneAPI HPC Toolkit.
What is the difference between the Online Installer and the Local Installer?
Online Installer:
- Features customizable installation
- Downloads a small installer file
- Requires an internet connection on the host machine
- Downloads components at the same time as the installation
- Provides an option to create a local installer
Local Installer:
- Includes all tools in the toolkit
- Recommended for host machines with poor or no internet connection
What are the domain-specific toolkits?

How do I download or update my software that requires a license?
To download your Intel® software product files:
- Sign in to the Intel® Registration Center.
- From the list of products on the main page, choose the product you want, and then select Download.
- From the Choose a Version drop-down menu, select the desired version. The versions are ordered first by major release, and then by update number from newest to oldest.
- In the Choose a Download Option section, select the blue button that best suits your needs (there may be multiple options). For older product versions, you may need to select a box indicating consent to an agreement to see the buttons.
Alternatively, if Intel® Software Manager is installed, update your installed products by going to the Downloads tab, and then select Update.

Where can I download the Intel® Parallel Studio XE Software License Manager for my floating license?
The Intel® Software License Manager is only available if a floating license is associated with your account. It is not needed for other Intel® Parallel Studio XE licenses or for Intel oneAPI.
- Sign in to the Intel® Registration Center.
- Select the product that has a floating license.
- On the Subscription History page, next to Intel® Software License Manager, select Download.
- From the Choose a Version drop-down menu, select the operating system for the license manager installation. This can be different than the operating system the software product will be installed on.
- In Choose a Download Option, select Download.
When downloading updates, I get a message that says "No products found." What do I do?
Close your browser, delete your cookies, and then sign in again. If the problem persists, see Get Help.
